24h to 8h Sunday to Thursday
Base salary : $21.50/h + night $4.00/h

Main functions

Under the supervision of the production supervisor, the assistant operator adjusts and operates plastic extrusion machines. He/she also participates in material receiving activities when required and may be required to operate a forklift.

• • Participate in production operations, fill silos with raw materials, support plastic material transformation operations (extrusion), plastic baling, etc.
  • Adjust and operate machines used to extrude plastic compounds.
  • Replace extruder machine filters as per production line needs.
  • Troubleshoot issues, perform minor equipment repairs, and conduct maintenance.
  • Verify the quality of products.
  • Complete certain reports.
  • Operate a forklift.
  • Always adhere to safety instructions.
  • Maintain a clean working environment.
  • Perform any other tasks related to the job.

 

Requirements :

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Valid driver’s license.
