A piece of history

Eric Fradette and Charles  Bourdeau, former colleagues in the Quebec City region, joined forces to start a business that equaled their human values and their search for a specialized expertise in the recycled plastics industry.

Thus, the two entrepreneurs combined their expertise in 2003 to purchase, process and resell quality plastics. Their goal: becoming the largest post-industrial recycled resin distributor.

Quickly, the SME became a major player in post-industrial resins granulation. Leaving St-Bruno for Granby to invest in its development for five years, EXXEL Polymers finally landed in the former Bromont Quebecor plant in 2012. The acquisition of this building, an investment of nearly $3 million in the medium term, enabled it to double its size, with 72,000 square feet, and thus maximize its expansion.
