Exxel Polymers Inc. is first and foremost a recycler of plastic materials recovered at the end of industrial processes and at the end of their life cycle. We custom reformulate the mechanical properties and characteristics of resins to meet specific requirements. From plastic waste, we produce new, high-performance raw materials that are revalorized and, above all, 100% recycled.

Position Profile

Title: General Maintenance Worker

Work Schedule (Full-Time): Day shift, Monday to Friday, up to 40 hours per week
Salary: $23.00/hour

 

Main Responsibilities

If you enjoy performing a variety of tasks, you will ensure the maintenance and proper functioning of the plant yard and building.

• Work both indoors and outdoors
• Maintain, renovate, and perform minor building repairs
• Move 53’ trailers in the outdoor parking lot
• Mow the lawn in summer and perform snow removal during winter
• Perform grounds maintenance and gardening work
• Set up and take down Exxel tents for employee activities
• Run errands (urgent parts, last-minute needs, etc.)
• Perform tasks safely
• Provide operational support
• Follow internal procedures
• Perform other duties as required throughout the year

Requirements and Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment

• Valid driver’s license (mandatory)

• Experience operating a tractor or motorized equipment

• Experience with a shunter (asset)

• Observant, reliable, resourceful, and autonomous

• Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail

• Ability to lift up to 25 kg
